So what is an “Education Champion” you ask? Well, it is any individual or organization that wants to help support our mission of funding innovative ideas in the Carson City School District. The Carson City Schools Foundation is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 47-2898107), so your contributions are tax-deductible. You can also designate your donations toward use in any of our focus areas, or to the general fund.

School District Employees
Employees of the Carson City School District (CCSD) may participate directly through payroll deduction. To give you an idea of how meaningful your donation is, $1 donated per payroll period = $24 per year. If 960 employees donate $24 per year, we would raise $23,040 annually that will go directly back to supporting fellow teachers and staff.
