General information
The Foundation provides teachers and staff with mini-grants of up to $300 each for creative projects aligned with the District’s Strategic Plan, Empower Carson City 2027.
Important Grant Information:
- The Foundation cannot fund projects that require prior approval from Maintenance/Operations, Ed Services or other program leadership unless approval is explicitly stated.
- All funds must be used by the timeline stated in the grant or within 6 months of receiving the award. If this project cannot be completed within 6 months, please reach out to the CCSD Grants Department.
- If a project cannot be completed, funds will revert to the Foundation.
- Mini-grant winners will receive a personal check from the Foundation.
- Please note that awardees must be willing to share the results of their work via pictures, videos, and/or reports with the Carson City Schools Foundation. Some or all of these items may be used in press releases and uploaded to the Foundation’s website. Here’s an article to help you make a video.
