Carson City, Nev. (Jan. 29, 2026) — After many years of careful saving and generous community support, the Carson High School Senators Library has officially completed a much-needed renovation, transforming the space into a more open, safe and accessible learning environment for students.
Thanks to significant donations from John Erle Daniels Construction and the Carson City Schools Foundation, the library now features new bookshelves designed to improve visibility throughout the space, while maintaining easy access to books and learning materials. The updated layout enhances safety, encourages student use and creates a more welcoming atmosphere for reading, research and collaboration.
“The updated library reflects our commitment to providing students with a space that supports learning, curiosity and connection,” said Ananda Campbell, Carson City School District library coordinator. “We are deeply grateful to our community partners whose generosity made this project possible.”
The renovation preserves the library’s role as an academic hub while modernizing its design to better serve today’s students and staff. Improved sightlines and organization allow students to navigate the collection more easily, while staff can better supervise and assist students.
Carson High School extends sincere thanks to John Erle Daniels Construction and the Carson City Schools Foundation for their continued investment in education and student success, Campbell said.
